Has anyone done the math on how many hours it will take for a character to reach 15th level?

Anyone got a table that list approximate number of hours per current character level?
Estimated gold gained per level?

Just curious as to how much playing it'll take for me to retire a few of my characters. I'll probably do the work to figure it out but thought I would save myself some effort if someone's already done it.

Thanks.

Assuming a character (i) always gets max XP, (ii) never plays down, (iii) never dies, (iv) never crafts, (v) never loses a level, (vi) never plays down, (vii) never plays up at an even level, and (viii) plays up half the time at odd levels, her leveling schedule will look like this:

2nd: after 3 rounds
3rd: after 7 rounds
4th: after 14 rounds
5th: after 20 rounds
6th: after 27 rounds
7th: after 34 rounds
8th: after 42 rounds
9th: after 49 rounds
10th: after 57 rounds
11th: after 65 rounds
12th: after 73 rounds
13th: after 80 rounds
14th: after 89 rounds
15th: after 97 rounds
retirement: after 105 rounds

In general, it's 7 rounds of play to 3rd, and then about 7 or 8 rounds between levels from that point on.

Cool, thanks.

In general, it takes 4 hours per round for regionals, metas and cores.

Adaptables seem to take 1 hour per TU, so are quite a bit faster.

Man, I want to play with your DM. Curse of the Howling Horde took us 13 hours and Barrow of the Forgotten King took us 16 hours over two sessions. That's like 2-3 hours per TU for us.

So that's an average of 420 hours.

Or 17.5 days.

I was just basing it off my play experiences.

Barrow of the Forgotten King is 11TUs and took us 9 hours.
Red Hand of Doom is 51TUs and took us 7 sessions of 8 hours each.
Fields of Ruin is 7TUs and took 6 hours each time I've seen it played.
Fane of the Drow is 7TUs and also took about 6 hours.

Different DMs for each of the above mods.

Only if you're starting a new character. A game a week is reasonable for most folks, especially if they have local game stores with active gamers. that's 50+ rounds right there.

I've got three 11th level characters of which I'm really only interested in reaching retirement with one of them. Demonweb Pits and a few other adaptables might be enough to see him well on his way to retirement.

Also got an 8th level character that I would be interested in playing to retirement.
