| jtrain105-16-07, 04:28 PM | that is pretty much it for the RHoD does Sterich count as Sheldomar Valley and CORE or just CORE for access to items and favors? I have played in a Sheldomar Valley meta-regional mod where one goes into the the land of Sterich ,but the RHod Faq says that that RHoD counts as access if played a Core mod. Please solve. James |
| Fakegoatee05-16-07, 08:38 PM | Page 8 of the LGCS says items with frequency Metaregional "May be purchased only after next three adventures and after regional or metaregional adventures set in the metaregion(s) that appears on this AR." RHoD is not a regional or metaregional adventure, even if it's set in the Sheldomar Valley. So, it looks like it can't count for Sheldomar Valley metaregional access. :( |

The title gives you "free standard upkeep during any adventure set in the Sheldomar Valley metaregion." As has been pointed out, Sterich is part of the Sheldomar Valley, but if it is a Core mod set in Sterich, does it still qualify as being in the metaregion? The technical answer might be no, but it seems to me it would be pretty silly to have the title of Lord Dire of Sterich and not get the benefits in Sterich. |

I believe the Temple of Tharizdun that was the setting of a core special last year was in Perrenland too but I could be wrong on that one. |
| King Kashue05-17-07, 02:06 AM | For items, access is based on adventure type, not geography. For in-game benefits, it becomes a DM call. I'd imagine most would give you the benefits of a Sterich title for any adventure set in Sterich, and what not... |
