It's a 3.0 book, so they didn't want to give general access to all the stuff in it.

It's not left out, per say. It's content is repeated in newer books or is content that doesn't need to be in the LGCS. Plus it's a "pre-3.5" book so we tend to use it a lot less.

I know someone will come and bash this post eventually.

But the full blade is in reality nothing more than a Large Bastard sword.

And if nothing else if you take EWP - Bastard Sword and Monkey Grip and can gain access to a Large Bastard sword its the same as having a full blade

that's spending two feats where u had to use 1 before, i know cretain regions military meta orgs give access to full blade, but when i all most weapons where being made open i just wondered if thisone had been missed

Even before you would have had to use 2 feats. Its a large weapon so to even be able to use it in 2 hands you would have to have monkey grip. and you need to take EWP - Fullblade to use it also. So its still the same 2 feats

Edited: Reread the Fullblade listing and even checked the FAQ for weapons sizing etc. You could with just 1 feat EWP - Fullblade wield it 2 handed (-2 AB). But you could do the same thing with EWP - Bastard Sword and use a Large Bastard Sword (-2 AB).

With the monkey grip feat added to either one of them you could use it in 1 hand (but not opposite hand)
