Phylactery of Undead Turning?

It's in the DMG. If an AR doesn't list a specific book for access, then it's usually in the DMG.

My dictionary says that a phylactery is worn on the forehead or arm. The MIC (pgs 218 & 286) has phylacteries as head items. There does not appear to be a Periapt of Undead Turning. It could be an error on the author's part. Or, it could the same item in a different slot. You should see if there is an errata for that mod.

The item in 3.5 is "Phylactery of Undead Turning", and is a head slot item.

In 3.0 it was an "Amulet of Undead Turning", and was a neck slot item.

In 2nd Edition it was also an "Amulet of Undead Turning", but it allowed ANYONE to turn as a 4th level cleric (or boosted cleric/paladin levels by four for turning).

I'd start with the triad that released the mod.
