| 12tanis03-01-07, 02:25 AM | Hi, I am a little bit confused as to what is considered a cohorts wealth. Using the LGCS rules your cohort may only have the listed amount of wealth per lvl as stated in the LGCS. When gaining a Lvl the wealth has to be adjusted accordingly. So my question now is how is the wealth of my cohort totaled? its the worth of all his possesions, yea right but do i calculate from the resale Value i would get if i sold my stuff or do i calculate from the Buy-Value i used to pay in the first ? Second, my cohort is a Wizard, do i have to calculate the "worth" of my Spellbook and include it in the total ? Third what about non-magical Items i dont consider selling ? like my horse or Backpack, Food and clothing ... are these also figured in or is wealth just measured for Weapons, Armor, Jewelry and magical Items .... ? If anyone has a ruling to these questions available plz tell (perfect would be a citation to an official ruling or maybe a dispel confusion on that matter) THX |

With this money, you buy everything your cohort owns/carries at normal price (with access based on your own access for non-core stuff). For a wizard cohort, they would get their base spellbook + the 2 spells for each level they normally get. Scribing extra spells into your spellbook follows the "normal" PC rules, so you can scribe additional spells after every adventure they participate it. What happens to the spellbook when you re-calculate you Leadership score again is not specifically listed. You might lose the spells or you might need to just deduct the extra spells from your cohorts wealth. That's something for the Circle to answer. |
