Puggle Halfwine 03-18-06, 08:48 AM	Where's the most current LG Deities document? The most recent one I can find is for the *last* conversion... And seriously, why are domains like 'elf' and 'dwarf' restricted? They're hardly broken. And what's the deal with a whole bunch of domains being 'core' which you can't actually, legally, get in LG? Such as Hunger, Pestilence, Seafolk, etc...
Mortepierre 03-18-06, 09:51 AM	Where's the most current LG Deities document? The most recent one I can find is for the *last* conversion... The 2.0 has been available for a year already (even though it was supposed to last only a few days). You can still download it from the LG website and a number of Yahoo-LG forums. And seriously, why are domains like 'elf' and 'dwarf' restricted? They're hardly broken. My guess would be either: a) they're too much "FRish", or b) introducing them would mean creating also racial domains for all the human subspecies (since each of them had its own pantheon to begin with), something I wouldn't touch with a 10 ft pole. And what's the deal with a whole bunch of domains being 'core' which you can't actually, legally, get in LG? Such as Hunger, Pestilence, Seafolk, etc... Key word here: can't yet. Given a 2.1 revision of the deities document is supposedly going to show up soon (don't keep your fingers crossed though..), maybe some gods will get access to them? Honestly, it would surprise me for domains such as Pestilence but stranger things have been known to happen... <shrugs>
Puggle Halfwine 03-19-06, 09:33 AM	Cool. Any word on when 2.1 might be out? Who's responsible for writing this (so I can e-mail them and ask)?
TimRat 03-20-06, 10:13 PM	hopefully the deities document will be out quite soon. i know the author is trying to convert something else that all players will be happy to see as well. so in due time in due time.
