I see that the Xen'drik Expeditions (XE) cards for Fall '07 have been posted. Once again, XE gets 5 cards - which probably means that 5 LG cards are being shipped (for what it's worth).

Any news / rumours on what the new cards will be?

For the less avid readers of the boards, there were hints months ago that there were more LG cards in process but that there weren't going to be new racial Creation cards for a while... and then the 4e & LFR announcements came out.

Since XE has posted their Summer & Fall '07 cards lists, hopefully the LG cards will be posted soon.

Are any of the XE cards under consideration for use in LG? Or is it (understandably) not a priority?

Cheers,

Well, of the five new XE cards, two of them (Breaking the Mold and Address of Authority) don't sound like they'd work in LG at all.

Insightful Reaction could work if they removed the action point use.

Chapbook Notes could, mechanically, work, though it requires another XE card to use.

There's nothing mechanically that prevents Student of Evil from working in LG, though it fundamentally lets you rebuke/command undead as an evil cleric, and I'm not sure the Circle would like that so much.

Are these reprints of formerly released cards? I have all of the cards presented in this new announcement. I got all of these "new" cards in August, this past summer.

As to new Living Greyhawk cards, I don't know. I guess we shall see.

Yeah, this is the first listing of Rewards Cards they've done in ~6 months. So the first link (Summer / XE Set 3) were the ones we received last summer. I was more excited by the second page / set (Fall '07 / XE Set 4) since I believe they are new & yet to be shipped. I figured that was all the incentive I needed to fish for LG card information. ;)

It also appears to me that 3/5 of the Fall '07 XE cards could be used in LG since they don't require Action Points, etc. IMHO.

Is there any idea on when the durations or mailing dates for either the Summer or Fall cards is/was?

I got my GM Reward mini in the mail about a week ago, maybe a bit more. Past experience has shown that the cards tend to follow a couple of weeks later, so I'd expect cards to start showing up any time now.

I'm wondering what spells people will be storing in Orbital Spellstone and I know my gnome characters will be packing Lucky Slip if I get one...

I'm actually hoping for a "One More Time"...it'd be nice for both my paladin, and my bard.

Lucky Slip is definitely a great card to have for anyone.

One More Time is pretty good too.

Orbiting Spellstones are handy, they'll be great for storing things like shield, false life, mirror image, and other "great for 1 round, when something is going to bash your face in if you don't have SOMETHING" spells.

I'd love to get a spellstone for my sorcerer, but I'd really love to get a Lucky Slip. Lucky Slip is like Second Wind and Not This Time. A card that everyone will want.
