I know the campaign is due to see version 4.0 of the Campaign Sourcebook next month, assuming it's on schedule. Is there, or has there ever been an at-large review period? Is a draft always released? Are there any significant changes, and will Complete Adventurer make it in?

Happy gaming.

This has been discussed on the main Greyhawk Yahoo group.

1. The revised LGCS will be released around Winter Fantasy.

2. The draft has not been released (at least not to players).

3. A brief (approximately one week) comment period for players is planned.

4. It will include Complete Adventurer and Complete Arcane.

5. It will NOT include conversion from the builder books to the "Complete" books. This will occur later next year.

This has been discussed on the main Greyhawk Yahoo group. Thanks, Ed. I appreciate the succint answers.

What is the URL to the "main Gryehawk Yahoo group"? I searched in Yahoo's groups, and I got literally hundereds of "Greyhawk" related groups.

Thanks again.

Having seen a draft of th 4.0 and being one of the classes that will no longer be allowed on March 1, what do we do if we wont get the conversion guidlines till later this year? Will we be allowed to continue on unimpeded until that time?

The review period for the LGCS draft ended yesterday. It appears the LGCS 4.0 will be used as of Winter Fantasy.

It also appears that the conversion rules will be released around Winter Fantasy, with conversion expected to be completed by March 1st.

This is earlier than I expected from prior Circle posts. It seems like an aggressive schedule, but the last word from the Circle was that it would be very similar to the 3.0 to 3.5 conversion in terms of what is allowed to change. I'm not sure what my Deepwood Sniper will do as of March 1st.

I agree. By that time I will have 5 levels of Devoted Defender. I know it is a really broken class, but any other class in the expansion books that I like have been disallowed or only allowed with special documentation. Really bites, although my GM's will like it.

I know what my ranger/cleric/fighter/pious templar/bear lord/warshaper will do. Well, assuming the conversion allows it. The only way to keep the character concept and abilities close to current ones is to convert to a druid/fighter/warshaper.

Of course then I get to take the loss on selling off all that metal armor and buying druid friendly armor.

Well if what was posted above is correct, that the conversion will be like 3.0 to 3.5 I belive that allowed you to sell back at full during the conversion, but I cant remember correctly and I am not sure if that is the way it will be going.

The final version of LGCS4.0 is being distributed as of now. I'm just trying to upload it to my regional group but Yahoo's playing up!
