| Altar_Boy03-20-07, 08:48 PM | Is there some list of Meta-Orgs on the WotC website? I'm looking for one for my local region (Zeif), but the best I can get is a point towards another yahoo-group I don't feel like joining. |

Or your region's web page if they have one. |

In all honestly, the regional Yahoo groups are where an awful lot of the region-specific discussion takes place, as well. If you're serious about being involved in your region, it's probably worth your while to join. |

Uruzaries: Half-orc elite minions of the Sultans. Has a severe play restriction (can only play regionals, metaregionals, and in a few neighbouring regions.) May offer some PRC access, can't remember. Skill bonuses mostly centre around interrogation; also allows Str, not Cha, to Intimidate. Sons of Cin: Elementalist meta-org. Wizardy benefits. Offers Bonded Summoner and Elemental Savant access. Arcane Sanctum: Generalist arcane meta-org. Wizardy benefits. Offers Mage of the Arcane Order access. Dusk Lash: Thieves' guild, with the usual expected benefits. Offers significant in-character options. Offers Nightsong Enforcer and Skullclan Hunter access, skill bonuses, discount equipment, and fills membership requirements for some open PRCs. Churches: Azor'alq, Al'Akbar, Geshtai, Istus, Mouqol, Zuoken and Xan Yae all have church meta-orgs. Some in-character options, varied skill bonuses and PRC access. Royal Navy: For sailors! Offers Stormwrack equipment access, discount equipment, significant in-character options, Dread Pirate access, and lots of room for advancement. I believe there's also an artificer's guild meta-org in the workings (Arm of the Kwalish?) and I may have left something out, of course. |

I'd guess that your big objection might be getting more mail, but that's an option you can normally opt-out of -- in other words when you want to check in, you can pop on to the site and read only the stuff you want to read. It's an option I utilize for every group I'm in and I find it to my liking. |
| bitznarf03-21-07, 01:57 AM | One Meta-Org that I am aware of that was missed (or perhaps misnamed): The Order of Kwalish: artisans, scholars, and crafters, similar in some ways to the College of Sages & Sorcery from the Duchy if you are familiar with its methods. I'm not entirely familiar with its benefits, as any character I would make that would possibly join the order would be better suited to the Arcane Sanctum. |
| jstorrie03-21-07, 02:57 AM | I'm not sure if the Kwalish doc is ready yet, though. |
| bitznarf03-21-07, 10:06 AM | I dunno, I've had a copy of both the meta org document and AR's for a over a year now. |
