| Newpaintbrush11-22-04, 05:35 PM | I hear the LG Gazeteer is out of print. Is a new edition supposed to be released each year? Or is there Only One Living Greyhawk Gazeteer? |
| Greyson11-22-04, 10:45 PM | Given that the Living Greyhawk campaign is going gang busters, you'd think a new LGG would be issued soon. But there will not be another one, regrettably. The LGG from 2000 was apparently a one-shot publication without follow-up. |
| Newpaintbrush11-23-04, 11:28 AM | Better get my rear movin' on getting a copy of the LG Gazeteer then. Thanks for the feedback. :D |
| oroborous11-23-04, 08:31 PM | Well, hot damn! I'm glad I picked one up on a whim when I saw it on the shelves all those years ago. Seriously, does it make sense for it to be out of print when it is the biggest RPGA campaign in the world? If it is then we ought to sack who ever made that decision. EDIT: There are 2 different versions of the Gazeteer, so maybe only the old one is out of print. The only difference that I could tell was the map was smaller in the 2nd one |
| Arvagor11-23-04, 08:40 PM | Out of print? My local Borders must have cracked open an old box then -- there were two new copies on their gaming shelf just last week (and three of the smaller "Gazetteers")... |
| Newpaintbrush11-24-04, 11:24 AM | Yeah, I *think* it really is OOP. Apparently Borders has a lot in stock in a warehouse somewhere. (I'm going to call 'em in an hour!) :D |
| smerwin2911-24-04, 01:04 PM | It is out of print. (Wizards is not printing any more copies.) You can still find copies in many bookstores and gaming stores, as they are not sold out yet. Shawn |
| mage18911-24-04, 06:47 PM | It's one of those books that they don't make anymore, but is still very easily available. A new Gazateer would be VERY welcome. |
