| Adam50008-22-05, 08:01 PM | Im forming a group to play Living Greyhawk, and am running COR05-06 as our first adventure (to allow access to availible Sandstorm material if desired etc.). I just don't know where to go from there. Can anyone suggest a good order for playing adventures for a new group/dm? Right now I'd be allmost picking at random with the APL's as my only guide (not that its a bad guide mind you). |

Getting to 2nd level before jumping into Core mods could be a good idea... just a suggestion. Because once characters are 2nd level, intro mods are not available anymore. |

You can get a lot more plot continuity by playing scenarios from your home region. Other than that it is a lot of reading to work out which scenarios have a logical lead into each other. |

| ShinAkuma208-24-05, 11:17 PM | Yeah, the Sandstorm/Blood on Bright Sands arc really isn't worth the use of 2+ TUs for every mod afterward. So far. I really hope the next ones provide some kind of godly access to a rogue... So far, though, I'm regretting it. |

Players have infinite TUs. Its only characters that are limited to 52 per years. I play enough characters that I never run out of TUs despite traveling quite a lot to play and playing online, although my Bissel character(Bissell has mandatory military service so you send 17 TUs your first year in fighting Evard instead of adventuring) came rather close. |

I've run my primary PC out of TU all four years of the campaign. I'm probably won't make it this year, but only because I'll retire at 18th level before I run out of TU. My secondary finished last year in single digits and will run out of TU this year (and presumably next year). However, the campaign focus is definitely shifting to lower level play. You only need to look at the APL ranges for core modules to see that support for APL's above 10 is dwindling. It's not a race and the campaign changes which reduced retirement level from 20th to 18th and then 16th as of Jan. 1, 2006 make this apparent. Ed |

| MaxDog08-25-05, 04:44 PM | COR4-03 Tropical Intrigue is an APL 2 friendly mod I just ran for our new group. Challenging, but fun. I would second the Baatezu series (just be aware of errata issues with A Tiger? ... in Ahlissha. Check out the LGDM Yahoo board. |
