Master Specialist has wildly different class abilities - the Master Conjurist essentially gets Sudden Quicken as its 10th level ability. Where the Transmuter simply adds 1-9 hp of damage if people save against his spells.

cetiken 04-15-07, 12:04 PM	and why is master specialist a closed class? Probably because you can enter it before level 5. Such PrCs usually get hated. Though since its wizard only not getting level 5 wizard is actually somthing of a penalty in my mind.

gomeztoo 04-16-07, 03:18 AM	what would it take to be allowed to play a wild mage in the bandit kingdoms? The ability to quicken Expeditious Retreat and run for your life? Seriously, I think a Special Mission works best, though ofcourse you have to find a Triad willing to write you one. I've seen quite some access to alienists, btw. I known one wild mage though, so access is out there. Gomez
Daeva 04-16-07, 04:04 AM	well considering that there already is a levle 1 spell that acts like a auto quickend expedious retreat tha tlasts for 1 round it snot THAT bad LOL. yeah i know im not overly special with the alienist access but its sitll an interesting opportunity, its not a class i would normally play. But at least in this area of the bandit kindom becuas eof all the cheating that happend in the region asking for a special mission to be anything is like asking a supermodel to the prom, chances are, it just isnt going to happen.

Maesto 04-16-07, 08:53 AM	There was a retired Perrenland interactive which gave access. Then again, it appeared that access was slightly tailored to the PCs that the authors knew were playing. But on the other hand, wild mage access was appropriate to the module. I've never seen access any other place.
