Missing: One Black Rider [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-25-07, 01:06 AM Has anyone encountered minions/agents/critters of Incabulos, or plotlines thereof in LG? I think I have run into just about every obscure, and petty little evil deity's plots, but not Incabulos, and he is one of the most powerful of Greyhawk's evil deities.

It was Nick Tulach's series if I recall correctly. I believe it ended with one of the year 2 adaptable mods,

02-25-07, 03:48 AM Y3 Core module "Lerara" had a village which had been infected by servant of Incabulous. Of course said servant also ended up on..."pole position" (which also got very warm, very quickly) and as fertiliser for the fields but damage had been done to people, including to PCs.

Ahem, actually, I remember hiding under a wagon while they were laying waste to my team :gah: (hey! I was only lvl 1 at the time)

I think the series was Plea From Beyond the Grave, Scent of a Demon, and Plague of the Third Season. The first two were adaptables, the third was a core.

02-25-07, 09:42 AM IIRC you ahd to stop a rider of Incabulous, which was at one APL a nighthag on a nightmare. However iirc you could stop her from appearing if you did the right things.

02-25-07, 12:47 PM Incabulos did appear in the old Core arc. He also played a major role in the early plot arc of Furyondy and appeared in a recent Veluna (?) module I played.

02-25-07, 01:32 PM My most recent encounter with Incabulous occured in a late Year 5 Gran March mod. There was an Evangelist of Incabulous converting towns people. This was definitely not a good mod for any Asherati since a failed save pretty much meant instant death.

There was a year 5 interactive called 'Return to the Temple of Incabulous' in Perrenland.
