| Shieldhart9112-22-06, 04:10 AM | I'm considering putting my monk through a level of Sorcerer so that I may independently benefit from Mage Armor, Shield, and/or Fist of Stone. My question would be if I took a level in Sorcerer, would I be able to get Fist of Stone from the start? I only plan to take one level...does it work? |

It does, but I'd only do it if you have a plan to get back into Monk or Enlightened Fist. You can't do that unless you have Ascetic Mage, which requires you to be able to cast 2nd level spells or 3 actual caster levels. |
