I'm curious on the status on giving out mundane item access.

Would it be possible to simply hand this over to individual triads that could make a list as to what common, mundane items are available locally in their Region?

It's one thing to need to find access to magic, but for items that in game should be common (ie DC 12 craft check common) could we come up with a way that could fit into LG and still reflect this?

Thanks,

Many Meta orgs do cover this aspect of 'Triad' Mundane access.

I'm hoping that regions will be able to use the mysterious locations inn as a sort of template for access to minor things.

That aside, Do you just want a list of things regions provide or do you want it noted where you get access?

Many Meta orgs do cover this aspect of 'Triad' Mundane access.

I'm not talking about something rare or guarded that only select members can be entrusted with, but rather something that anyone there could obtain from a local smith or shop.

Besides metaorgs shouldn't be item access routes in my mind. A few specialty items perhaps, but they shouldn't be the gateway in this fashion. Having them be the way to obtain mundane items is just as bad as having them give out magic item access.

If it fits logically it's one thing, but if my character wants to get something like floatation bags, or some other odd and end they shouldn't have to be a card carrying member of X to go shopping for one. Heck it's reasonable to have them be able to comision it, or for that matter to craft it themself(though that seems to have had resistance in the past).

Basically I'm thinking that each region could customize what mundane items are available locally. If desired there could be a system in place for hiring an item to be made (a TU wait/delay as well as cost). The mysterious location idea is interesting (I haven't come across it yet and needed to look that up) and yes that's along the lines of what I was thinking.
