diablobasher 02-27-04, 09:48 AM	i am a first level wood elf monk, i have STR: 14 DEX: 18 CON; 10 INT; 6 WIS: 16 CHA: 6 what I want to know, is what are the full rules for shurikens? can i flurry with them? and do i add STR bonus to damage with them? Also, with a sai or a nuchaku, can i attack and disarm, as a flurry action? and, in 3.5 if you can still throw 3 shurikens per attack, can i throw 6 with a flurry? also, is it worth buying a 50 charge ring of charm (from a certain mod, not saying incase people havent played it) just so i can lend it to people so we can get info easier. also, one last thing, for my monk, can i buy bracers of armor +1 without it being on a AR, and can i buy potions of mage armor without it on the AR? and for my druid (this also applies to my arcanis druid if anyone knows the answer) can i buy tanglefoot bags without campaign documentation???
Simpi 02-27-04, 11:23 AM	Flurry of blows: You can use flurry for Shurikens. STR bonus is included in the damage. In 3.5 you cannot throw 3 shurikens anymore, but you basically get the Quick Draw feat for free with them and, if you are a monk, you get the Monk rate of attack. Nunchaku/sai: Yes, you can attack with one and disarm with other. Ring: No idea. Bracers/Potion/Tanglefoot: You can buy all without any special documentation. In case you have not played with your character yet, I'd suggest you try to get your intelligence to 10, with dropping either dex or wis. Those skill points really help a monk and you should try to boost your tumble & spot abilities with them.
