New character [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-04-05, 12:38 PM I live in the Nyrond region and have a few characters here, but i was wanting to start a character in the Keoland region. This is due to them being more resonable with prestiege classes. Specificly Drunken Master. My question is do i have to travel to one of the states in the Keoland and start my charcter there or can I create him here and say that's his home region?

You can choose whatever home region you want, you don't ever have to play there actually (although if you want some meta-gaming stuff like PrC access you might)...Just remember you can only change regions at the new year (barring triad approval) and any all non-Keoland mods you play (such as Nyrond) will be twice the cost...

LOL! You might want to look at the Keoland meta-org document before deciding to start a Keoish character. The Triad just released a list of magic items and such that will get your character executed, arrested, banished, etc. It's very . . . interesting.
