Hi all. I just signed up for Winter Fantasy- I have been a member of the RPGA for a long time (and I have a number and all that), but I haven't participated much at all for the past 4 years.

So I decided now is the time! Anyhow, I looked at making a character last night and it seemed like the new Living Greyhawk draft document was saying that Scouts (Complete Adventurer) and certain other non PHB classes would be allowed for new characters starting on February 23rd, which is Winter Fantasy.

Did I interpret this correctly? I made a Baklunish human scout that I liked but I guess I could re-roll. Will I be driven from the convention hall or what? :)

Let me know.

Scout, and some other non-core classes, are already available for play in Living Greyhawk.

The new LGCS document (5.0) goes into effect at Winter Fantasy, and it does indeed say that scouts are legal for play...but scouts were already made "legal" in LGCS 4.2, which has been the rules document since last March.

So, yes, you can make a new Scout.

Hopefully you didn't mean that you actually rolled your statistics, as LG uses build point system.

Sorry, no I used 28-pt point buy. I said re-roll as a euphemism. :)
