Well, technically, I haven't received the package in the mail yet, but I passed the test online.

I have never been to an RPGA event, and only know as much as the .pdf documents have told me about running and playing in them. I've been playing RPGs since I was 9 years old, so I've got a good grasp, but I have questions about running a game. I want to start out running home games, and then bring the group to game days and eventually conventions.

1) Do you order RPGA membership forms along with the adventures, and if so, is there a limit? My gaming group is about 6 people plus myself, and sometimes we have a couple of other people who can't make it very often that are very interested in the idea of going to big RPGA conventions with us.

2) Is there a set introductory adventure for LG, or is there one per metaregion, or one per region, or a combination of the three? If so, which one do I pick (i.e. if there is a general Greyhawk intro adventure, a Nyrond and Environs intro adventure and a Duchy of Urnst intro adventure)?

3) As I understand it, you start with 52 time units per character. So if they made three characters each, they could theoretically go through 156 TU in a year. Is that right?

4) If we wanted to play, say, LG and Mark of Heroes, would we only be able to order one adventure of each for home play, or two of each?

I guess that's all for now. I can't think of the other questions I had.

You will most likely receive a pack of 6 RPGA signup cards in the mail reasonably soon after you receive your RPGA card. These should be used to sign people who don't have RPGA numbers up for your home game. Any convention running RPGA events should also have a supply for signing up anyone who shows up without a number. You can email rpgasanctioning@wizards.com to request more cards if you need them. An RPGA adventure can only be run with 4-6 players (plus the DM) however, it isn't legal to run a 7+ player table.

Each region has their own set of intro modules (2 or 3 per region I think) which can be obtained from the regional triad. They may or may not be available for play at home games though, some regions prefer intro mods to be run at conventions or game days. The core module Blood on the Bright Sands is also an intro mod for 4-6 first level characters. Any other module offering APL 2 can be run with 1st level characters, although in that case I'd definately recommend a full table of 6.

Each character has their own supply of time units, yes.

I think you can only order 2 modules total for each home play session.

Each region may have up to 8 intro modules. Some, like Principality of Ulek, retire an older one to make room for newer adventures. Others are still adding new adventures but still have less than the maximum so none have retired yet.

Metaregional adventures are usually for 6th level and up characters, basically, the more experienced PCs and thus would never have any intro module. However, since many metaregional adventures may have the PCs travel through more than one region, they are a good introduction to the actual regions you may not have played in before.

Core adventures rarely have intro module. They are all special cases released by the circle, such as the Blood on Bright Sands adventure to introduce a specific series of adventures.

There are quite a few normal LG adventures that start at APL 2 which is where 1st level characters play at thus its somewhat of an 'intro' module. Also meta-regionals CAN have an intro mod (just one) but not sure if to many regions have taken advantage of this.
