briguybenwa 05-02-07, 08:59 AM	There will be an OpenRPG demonstration and tutorial tonight from 6:45 pm until 7:45 pm, Eastern time. Anyone interested in playing LG online should show up! We'll be passing out nodes, answering questions, and running a small combat. To participate, you'll need the newest version of the free program, OpenRPG, found at www.openrpg.com. We'll be meeting on the Blackstar server in a room called "Tutorial" or something similar. (Once you have the program installed, one of the menu options is "Browse Servers.") I'm only posting this to a few lists, but please feel free to forward it to any list you think might be interested. The more the merrier! Also, if you're an OpenRPG veteran, and would like to help out with answering questions, feel free to show up as well. All help is appreciated!! -Benoit.

Rerednaw 05-02-07, 06:52 PM	Are you using Vista as an operating system ? Windows XP SP2 I hate Vista. After installing, running openrpg or openrpg server gets a dos window for a split second and then nothing.
Rerednaw 05-02-07, 07:48 PM	Finally got it working...you need to install two other programs first. *DOH* Wanted to say thanks for the great demonstration. OpenRPG has undergone many many changes since I last used it and it is vastly improved. Heck it is even in color now. :) :clap:
