Paladin halfling going into halfling outrider with a Giant owl mount [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-05-06, 01:34 PM Hello I currently have a 1st level halfling Palidan with access to a Giant Owl as a special paladin mount at 7th level.

My stats and feats are

STR14
Dex14
Con12
INT 8
WIS12
CHA14

Feat-Mounted Combat

I was thinking of going:
1.Paladin-Mounted Combat
2.Paladin
3.Paladin-Ride by Attack
4.Paladin-
5.Paladin
6.Paladin- Mounted Archery
7.Halfling Outrider
8.Halfling Outrider
9.Halfling Outrider
10.Halfling Outrider
11.Halfling Outrider

That is pretty much all I have thought of... I still dont know what other classes to take or other feats to take to maximize the ability to now have a giant owl as a mount.

06-07-06, 02:10 PM I have a 10th level archer he has had a horse since level six and not even once did he miss not having mounted archery. It is a worthless feat except as a prereq.

06-07-06, 05:05 PM You need spirited charge, it is the best mounted feat around. If I were you I would actually stick in one or two fighter levels right after your first outrider level in order to grab spirited charge and another feat.
