The Monster Manual states that a unicorn has Teleport Without Error once per day within the bounds of its forest; however, if the unicorn is a bonded paladin mount, does it still retain this ability, or is it lost?

If it retains the ability, can it teleport with the paladin?

It retains it's spell-like abilities so, yes.

Remember, the campaign uses 3.5 rules, so its actually "Greater Teleport", PH pg293.

As per the appendix in the back of the MM, if no caster level is specified, then use the creatures HD as the caster level for determining variable effects.
With 4HD base, it can take one other creature (1 per 3 HD).

Contact your triad about the bounds of its "Home Forest" though, if your region doesn't have a forest, then you won't get to use it very often (you do have a Special Mission AR/Metaorg cert for access to that mount, I presume?)

Yes, I do have an AR for completing a special mission to obtain the mount. Can you tell me what page exactly you found this information?

Doesn't a paladins mount come from the "clestial realms"? So wouldn't it's home forest be there and not on the material plane?

MM 3.5 pg315, under "spell-like abilities" and cross reference with PH 3.5 under "Teleport, Greater".

This really does fall into the realm of 'ask your traid'.

If they are issuing it via a special mission then they are the ones to decide where the teleport ability works.
