RLWilde 07-19-05, 06:18 PM	I'm pretty sure paladins can gain other type of mounts through Campaign Documentation (such as AR access). I can't say that I think it's "unfair", but I don't play a paladin, ranger, or druid.

Paladin mounts have a MUCH better advancement than animal companions to start with. Its very rare for paladin mounts to be available through AR (I have only seen two - one celestial PH mount/Animal Companion and one Celestial Heavy Warhorse). Contact your Triad and ask for a Special Mission to get a superior mount. They will only give out mounts listed in the DMG pg204, so make sure you qualify first.

gizmonster 07-21-05, 11:40 AM	I would like to find one that gave a better animal companion. I know of two paladins that have special mounts. One has a dire lion. The other has a cow. (very interesting paladin) I think they got theirs by special mission from our triad.
