| Puggle Halfwine04-10-06, 01:52 AM | Hey guys, I'm considering building a cleric with the plant domain. One question I had however; if you take the plant domain and you have Divine Metamagic, can you use the turn attempts from the Plant domain to power your metamagic feats? |
| Mortepierre04-10-06, 02:21 AM | Straight from the D&D FAQ: Can the turning abilities granted by the Air, Earth, Fire, Plant, and Water domains be used to power Divine Metamagic (Complete Divine, page 80) or other divine feats? No. Unless stated otherwise, a divine feat requires (and may be powered only by) the ability to turn or rebuke undead. Some feats (such as Elemental Smiting, on page 81 of Complete Divine) use elemental turning (rather than undead turning); these are specific exceptions to the general rule. |
