Their URL is: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/OnlineGameDay/ Note that many games there tend to get set up on a rather chaotic or ad-hoc basis, although occasionally someone gets ambitious and tries to set up something bigger and mor organized. Most games that get organized there tend to be U.S.-friendly, which means either evenings (in U.S. time zones) or weekends. I know that there's also a group that organizes online LG for European-friendly times (which'd be during the day for the U.S.); many people are on both groups, so if you're interested in the European / daytime stuff, you can probably get a link from that group. As far as programs...while there is no one prescribed program for playing LG online, it does seem that the default is a shareware program called OpenRPG. I don't have a link to that (I don't have the program, and don't play LG online), but I'm sure that you can either Google it, or someone on the OGD list could point you in the right direction. I'll note that some folks do appear to find OpenRPG to have a fairly steep learning curve; again, there are some folks on the OGD list who frequently offer to help show new players the ropes. Hope this helps. |
