Polymorph update [Archive] - Wizards Community

This isn't the same as the LGCS guidelines..

Do we ignore circle and go with Skip, ignore skip and go with Circle, or try and combine them as best we can?

05-26-04, 01:11 PM As detailed in the LGCS, stuff like this is not official for the campaign (although the judge is free to use such third-party advice to help arbitrate nebulous areas). Given that many of these issues are directly and explicitly detailed in the LGCS in the section regarding Polymorph, though, the LGCS trumps anything else apart from the Circle itself.

If Skip's opinions here make it into the official WotC FAQ, official WotC eratta or if the Circle decide to incorporate his ideas into the next revision of the LGCS, then it will become legal for the campaign. Until then, it is merely a suggestion on how to handle tricky situations (and even then, only when it is not explicitly overridden by the errata, the FAQ and the LGCS, in that order).

05-27-04, 12:33 AM On the whole gear changing size with polymorph line of questions, does gear change size with alter self? It appears that it was intended to and the LGCS does not have an alter self entry that I saw.
