PrClass options for Dwarf Bard/Warchanter? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-03-05, 04:51 PM Right now, my Dwarf has reached the last level he is taking in Warchanter. He is currently a Bard 4/Ftr 1/Warchanter 3, and now I'm looking for a new prestige class. I'm probably going to be taking another bard level at level 9 for feat and skill requirements, but I'm not sure what prestige class would be effective. Here are my current stats/feat list:

STR 12, DEX 14, CON 13, INT 14, WIS 8, CHA 16
Weapon Focus (Dwarven Waraxe), Combat Expertise, Jack of All Trades, Lyric Spell.

I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me on what direction to take this character into. Thanks!

I think you should focus on something :) ie spellcasting or light combat? If combat take one or more fighter levels for more feats. Ie spell casting then take more bard levels rather than PrC levels for more spells.

I'd take Obsure Lore at 9th? to boost up your Bardic Knowledge score.

Just my idea...

12-05-05, 09:59 AM Right. Forgot to mention the focus. The focus is on music. The main reason I left bard to begin with is that I didn't gain enough music quickly enough. That's why I'm hoping to find Seeker of the Song access eventually; that allows me to get new music every level. If I can't find a PrClass that grants good, frequent music, I'll just stay in Warchanter for a few more levels, since Combine Songs and Inspire Awe are both pretty nice abilities to have.
