| mixmaster10-07-07, 05:20 PM | Sorry if this has been asked before... This open feat has the following preqs: STR 25, Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush, and size large or larger My character spends the majority of every battle enlarged so the majority of his combat experience comes when he is large. With that in mind can my PC take this feat? Thanks Brad |
| jstorrie10-07-07, 09:37 PM | Nope. Large has to be your 'normal' size. |
| mixmaster10-07-07, 10:35 PM | Bloody hell... No exceptions? |
| jstorrie10-08-07, 02:03 AM | You're not large, right? So you don't qualify. It'd be like an 11 Strength character trying to take Power Attack 'because I get Bull's Strength cast on me a lot.' |
| magebeast10-08-07, 02:25 AM | Bloody hell... No exceptions? It's the sort of thing that a DM in a home game could okay, but LG plays by the letter. So, nope, no exceptions. |
| awroe10-08-07, 09:15 AM | Bloody hell... No exceptions? I think if you had an item that made you large permenantly you could take it (similar to using a Belt of Giant Strength to qualify for Power Attack), but I don't know of any such device. |
| KarmaInferno10-08-07, 10:58 AM | You'd lose the benefits of the feat every time you took the item off, though. -karma |
| awroe10-08-07, 01:06 PM | You'd lose the benefits of the feat every time you took the item off, though. -karma Almost - I would say you lost the benefits of the feat whenever you no longer met the prequisites, so if you had a "Belt of Enlarge Person" used to qualify, you could take it off and still use the feat if you had Enlarge cast upon you. Similarly, if you had Reduce Person cast and became medium, the feat would stop working despite wearing the item. |
