| Arlonnion03-15-04, 02:16 AM | I am just now converting my character from 3.0 to 3.5 (haven't played in a while). My character is a 4th level paladin who was able to take the Divine Might feat at 3rd. But now in 3.5, paladins don't get the Rebuke Undead ability until 4th. Does this mean I cannot choose Divine Might as a feat until 6th now? Also what version of Divine Might is Living Greyhawk using, the Defenders of the Faith version or Complete Warrior? Thanks in advance. Arlonnion Lightbringer |

With 3.5 (and when LGCS 3.0 is made official) you can take Divine Might without additional hoops, but you can't take it at 3rd since paladins don't get turn undead until 4th (in my opinion making it even less useless in LG except for fueling the Divine feats, and except for one instance I haven't seen where channeling positive energy shows up.). The Divine Feats in Complete Warrior replace those in Defenders of the Faith. |

Mounted Combat is good if you have the ranks in Ride to make it useful (Spirited Charge is scary). While it's a little situational, after 5th you can summon your horse whenever & wherever you need him. Blind-Fight is a useful feat, even if it doesn't help with incorporeal miss chance. Weapon Focus helps to offset the penalty from using Power Attack, plus it's nice flavor if you take it with your deity's favored weapon. |

I've also just taken extra smiting as my 6th level feat which is really coming in handy aganst the 'big boss battles' at the end of the modules. I don't know what you want your pally to be roleplaying wise but mine is really just a fighter with lay on hands so these feat selections really work well for me. I've survived this far haven't I? |
