Question about Rainbow Servant/Tropical Intrigue [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-26-04, 09:32 PM I don't even have a clue if anyone has even tried to join this core PrC from the Complete Divine, but I decided to ask here to sate my curiosity of nothing else. I'm intentionally trying to be vague to not give anything away to people who haven't played the mod, which isn't hard since it really doesn't have a ton to do with the immediate story of that particular mod. :)

The requirements for the PrC are;
Alignment: Any nonevil and nonchaotic
Skill: Knowledge (Arcana) 4 ranks
Spells: Able to cast 3rd-level arcane spells
Special: Must find the hidden jungle temples of the couatls.

Since there are events in this core mod that might just happen to feature a temples that happen to be both in a jungle, hidden and happen to have something to do with couatls... Would or could that meet the special requirement for getting access to this PrC? I would assume it would just based off of how ridiculously rare it is to find such a place.

So I ask on here, see what other people think before I start to really pester my poor overworked Triad.

(Though if no one else is a Rainbow Servant, that makes it that much more tempting to try and get.)

09-27-04, 06:01 AM I though the same thing when I saw that prestige class in "Complete Divine", but I haven't seen anyone ask the Circle or their triad (on any of the regional lists I monitor) whether it it counts to allow access.

09-28-04, 06:38 AM I'm not the triad or anybody but in my opinion it wouldn't count. The requirement is "find the hidden jungle temples of the couatls." Not "find the hidden jungle temple of Camazotz, god of the Underworld."

The only connection to Couatls is that you find a feathered cloak.

09-29-04, 11:49 PM I'm sorry. I was under the impression it was a Couatls temple. I didn't know it wasn't.

I just remember barely making it out alive and saving the entire party from the last encounter. :)
