| kenobi6511-26-06, 09:20 PM | Can someone still order these for home play? Nope. Once they're retired, you can't order them for any purpose whatsoever. That said...the rights to retired LG modules now revert to the individual authors. Said authors can release them privately if they wish, although they would need to remove any RPGA/WotC intellectual property (i.e., any proper names, non-OGC rules, etc.) before doing so. Can i order them (having a rpga membership w/herald dm ability) yet run them for friends who do not have an rpga membership? Also no. Even if you order currently-active RPGA adventures, you can only run them for official RPGA play. |
| funnymanmike11-26-06, 09:39 PM | can a DM order RPGA sign up cards? |
| kenobi6511-26-06, 09:40 PM | can a DM order RPGA sign up cards? Absolutely; in fact, that's something they *want* you to do. Send an e-mail to rpgasanctioning@wizards.com, with your name, snail-mail addy, and RPGA number, and ask them for a stack. Be forewarned, with HQ still digging out of their backlog, it may take a few weeks. |

Alas, after much discussion this past summer, a poll (that is still open!) on the LGWriters Egroup that (although with poor participation) showed that writers were interested in making their mods available, and the resulting creation of a "RetiredLGMods" Egroup to help authors release their mods, there has been no discussion or progress on it since July 26. Shame. :-( If its ever going to happen, its going to have to be the authors that step up and do it. Nobody else can.
