Hey guys, just wondering if anyone's heard anything about the new Races book and if any of the stuff in it is going into LG?

I'm hanging out for a prestige class with Draconic Heratage as a prereq, gives full caster (or almost full caster, such as caster -1 or 1/3, etc) and gives dragon flavoured stuff. That'd be neat.

Still hanging out for my kobold PC tho'... sigh. If players can play centaurs now, I demand a kobold! C'maaaawwn. They're weak and slow and stupid and crappy- but oh so COOL.

As I don't think the book is even out yet, and the new LGCS will be released for player comment in a few weeks, I wouldn't count on it being included this time around.

If it shows up in LG, it would be announced as part of the new LGCS ... draft will show up in Jan and final version sometime thereafter. My expectation is that Races of the Dragon will be an author book, not a player one. You might see aspects of it in adventures and on ARs, but don't expect it to be common in the campaign or generally usable.

Q: When is the Living Greyhawk Campaign Sourcebook going to be updated again?

A: We endeavor to have the Living Greyhawk Campaign Sourcebook (LGCS) updated once per year, and in your hands before Winter Fantasy. Even though Winter Fantasy is running a little later this year than in recent years past, the LGCS should still be effective in the campaign sometime during January.

You can expect to see some rules items (feats, spells, prestige classes) from the following books published in 2005 listed as player options in the next LGCS: Heroes of Battle, Stormwrack, and Heroes of Horror.

So, if this is be taken literally, Races of the Dragon will be not be added yet, though certain other books will be.
