If so, what are the rules?

08-08-06, 07:17 PM My understanding would be "no". The range from a small creature vs a large creature does not change, and I am unaware of any rule suggesting it would change.

the only one i know of is the hill giant's "rock throwing" (ex) ability. their boulders have a 120 ft range increment, really nasty. i once was target in a hill giant's shooting gallery. bad bad idea.

you wait till you meet one with far shot .. can hit you at 480' and only take a -2 :)

have you played "jungle of lost ships" where some silly harphies try to enthrall you while aproaching the stranded ship???

the were dead before they came in hearing range :D (and that without far shot, just plain shooting, and my cleric is only a mediocre archer)

far shot is a goody for thrown weapons, but for archers is it normally not worth a precious feat.

I'm pretty sure it was a year 4 Core Special and is not eligible for play.
