| myshkingfh08-10-07, 06:21 PM | I've never received any reward cards. I hope and I pray (to Keoghtum!) But nothing. The interwebs tell me I've got 53 points - do I have to cash them in some how? Does the monkey who works at WotC send me my kobolt card when they feed him enough banannas? Have I just not been a good Myshkin? Must I pray to Umberlee instead? |

Does the monkey who works at WotC send me my kobolt card when they feed him enough banannas? Have I just not been a good Myshkin? Must I pray to Umberlee instead? Have patience. Reward cards usually take several weeks to get to everyone. Also, have you received any rewards cards before now? And are your rewards points logged BEFORE the cutoff date for this mailing? |
| myshkingfh08-10-07, 10:55 PM | No, I never have gotten cards before. Customer service wrote me back and told me that I have never had enough points before any cut-off date. How many points do you need to qualify for a card? |
| Hariman08-11-07, 12:38 AM | No, I never have gotten cards before. Customer service wrote me back and told me that I have never had enough points before any cut-off date. How many points do you need to qualify for a card? Each Twenty points you get qualifies you for 3 cards. BUT, if you also DM, I'm not sure if DMing is totaled separately. (I think it is.) Also, if you had only a few games over 6 months, (or however long) then had a major rush of LG playtime, you might be due for all the built up points/cards at once. But the only way to check that is to actually compare dates and total up your points yourself. |
| Puggle Halfwine08-12-07, 07:52 PM | You should pray to Britt instead. Therein lies your problem! |
| myshkingfh08-13-07, 02:24 PM | Unfortunately, given my family situation (toddler) and work life (attorney) I'm never going to be able to get 20 points in four months. It's a drag. I play as much as I can, but I'll never qualify for any rewards? Why reset it every four months? I have 53 points over two or three years. That should count for something! I just think it's kind of a jerky way to do business. I want to play a kobold too, but WotC just doesn't think I count I guess. |

They add up until you get something, they never reset. It sounds like you should have gotten something by now, unless this is the first time your total points earned has been over 20 points. There is a bit of delay the first time you get reward mailings, they have to print your plastic rewards card to mail out as well. |

Well, I hope you're right, but WotC customer service responded to me that I'm not getting any cards because I didn't accumulate enough points in the four month period. :( but I do see this: Duration Dates Your points accrue over a four-month duration. D&D Rewards are mailed to participants at the end of each duration -- in the spring, summer, and late fall. Each duration has four key dates: 1. Durations Start Date: Remainder points roll forward; points begin accumulating for the durations. 2. Durations Ends Date: The last day play counts toward the duration. 3. Mailing List Pulled: The last day GMs can report play results for the duration. 4. Arrival Date: The date rewards are scheduled to begin arriving in mailboxes. "Remainder points roll forward..." I think that must mean you're right. So why did WotC tell me to pound sand, the jerks? |
| myshkingfh08-14-07, 11:03 AM | Here's what they emailed me: Chris, It looks like you have not played enough events within each mailing period to get rewards. You can find the details of the RPGA rewards mailing durations here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/rewards/durations Good Gaming! I just replied quoting their webpage, so hopefully it'll get worked out! |
| Umbra_Kaitou08-14-07, 12:23 PM | Here's what they emailed me: I just replied quoting their webpage, so hopefully it'll get worked out! LEt us know how it works out, I'm getting the feeling I might have to do the same *sits by mailbox looking like like a sad, puppy* |
| Demoyn08-14-07, 02:09 PM | It's been noted that the cutoff for the past mailing was sometime back in April. It's entirely possible that you had 19 points or so during the cutoff and you've accrued the remainder since. All it means is that you'll get more cards next mailing. You're really getting off easy, because it's possible that they won't have Xendrik cards during the next mailing so you'll actually get something playable! Oh, and that you'll have to buy your kobold card on ebay from one of the 5 guys that plays Eberron like the other 80% of the LG players. |

No, I looked at the accounting and I had 45 reward points at the cutoff. Still haven't heard back from WotC. |

Thought you didn't want people to keep using the words "monkeys". I'm just sayin'. |
| myshkingfh08-14-07, 03:21 PM | That's from a completely different context. In a related thread a poster postulated that the reason that WotC sends out registration cards in fed-ex envelopes is because an actual monkey runs their mail room. I am the guy who just wrote that referring to someone as a cheese monkey is stupid and unoriginal. In the first case, an actual monkey was intended. In the second case, a LG player is compared to a monkey in a nonsensical way to indicate a distaste for his or her play-style. I'm sure you can see the difference. I'm not suggesting that we should stop calling non-lemur, tailed primates monkeys, I'm suggesting that referring to someone to willfully violates the spirit of LG rules to optimize their combat prowess monkeys is hackneyed. |

| CSHunt6808-14-07, 03:32 PM | You've demonstrated quite clearly why "monkey" is in the common lexicon. 'Nuff said. |

| CSHunt6808-14-07, 04:25 PM | I'll give you more time to think about it. |

Do we know when the exact cutoff day was, looking back April was my con month where i wracked up all my points. Also, in contrast to yours, whose to say there will be ANY LG specific cards next mailing. And likely nothing NEARLY as fun as a kobold card... |
| myshkingfh08-14-07, 09:39 PM | Well, good news for me at least! They acknowledge that there was a mistake and they're them out to me. Guess the squeeky wheel gets the oil. If you're uncertain about your cards why not send them an email? Couldn't hurt! |
| myshkingfh08-15-07, 02:40 PM | They're sending them ... in October :( |
| KShaver08-15-07, 03:45 PM | They're sending them ... in October :( Lol, and they're likely going to send you all of your accumulated points worth of cards up to date from that next set. I know one person who hadn't received anything for over a year. After dealing with customer service he got all of his accumulated points worth of cards from the last mailing, a full 3 sets of cards (the mailing was doubled to boot). Just hope there is something decent in it. |
| myshkingfh08-15-07, 04:22 PM | No kobold card though I guess. That's what I really wanted. |
| KShaver08-15-07, 06:21 PM | No kobold card though I guess. That's what I really wanted. I got the mailing and didn't receive one anyways. :weep: |
| Timlagor08-15-07, 06:31 PM | I'm hoping Blessed Relief will get reprinted soon myself. |
| myshkingfh08-17-07, 12:29 PM | So I get home last night after Thursday Night LG at Neutral Ground in NYC (my character was turned into a chaos beast :( ) and what should be in my mailbox but my reward cards! WITH a kobold card no less! I guess October came early this year! ...and two xendrik cards I don't even understand, but I'm not going to complain! |

I can only hope to get that lucky now, I got in contact with them following your case. Apparently while I had accumulated enough point before the cut off date, I didnt have them when they printed they recorded them o_O if that makes any sense =/ Le sigh. |
| myshkingfh08-22-07, 10:05 AM | I get the impression that they're a bit, uh, disorganized. Sorry for your loss, but, on the other hand, they might just be SO disorganized that they'll actually send them to you. Good luck! |
| Evil_Mouse08-22-07, 11:40 PM | I haven't recieve any my reward card yet, So is my friend. Any know who i talk to in email about reward cards. |

I suspect what that means, is even though you had accumulated the points in time, someone was late reporting an event and hence at the time that WoTC did the mail out not all your points were registered with them. |
| myshkingfh08-23-07, 11:33 AM | I haven't recieve any my reward card yet, So is my friend. Any know who i talk to in email about reward cards. Start here (http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/acct_login.php), create a login and ask customer service. This is who I contacted and they got back to me pretty quickly (i.e. in a day or two) |
| Evil_Mouse08-24-07, 12:01 AM | According to them. they state i didn't make enough points. But when you look at my record i made over 100 points before they cut |
| myshkingfh08-24-07, 11:50 AM | That is just what they told me! Write them an email, and remind them that their policy is that reward points roll over. I think they'll see the light! |
