Am I supposed to be enforcing the Dwarf extortionists tax on PCs when they come out with their loot? Or is that already factored into the treasure? 2. Is the mission of the theives guild a "job" that the theif guild member needs to give up a loot percentage on too? Is the loot percentage pre-tax or after tax :-) |
| RtrnofdMax11-26-07, 11:42 AM | Spoiler: Both parts 1 and 2 (the only parts I've played) are over cap, but only part of the loot from part one applies to the "tax". If the dwarves take the full 25%, then you'll no longer be over cap. If you get them to take 10%, you will still be over cap. However, it is at your discretion how many times you charge the tax. If the party finishes part 1, goes back to town, does part 2, goes back to town, etc. I would charge every time. You can choose how many times to charge, but basically, don't worry about the math if they take 10%, calculate it out if they take 25%. As for the thieves guild, there is a plot hook based upon being part of that guild, so this is a "job" and should be taxed. I would take that total after the dwarves take their cut. |
