Haro 06-06-07, 05:57 AM	I have access to summon a Fiendish Sea Lion with a Summon Monster 4 spell from COR3-11 Forlorn Memories. The problem is that while I know that the Sea Cat is usually referred to as a Sea Lion (and is also a CR 4 creature), since that module's release, there is now a CR 1 creature called a Sea Lion in Stormwrack. Common sense would dictate that the favour refers to being able to summon a Sea Cat, seeing as the CR matches the spell level but has there been any kind of errata or Circle ruling on this? Stormwrack came out more than two years after the module, so the author was clearly not referring to the CR 1 version in that book. Thanks in advance for any answers... Joe
Britt 06-06-07, 07:03 AM	I believe Sea Cat was Sea Lion in the 3.0 MM, which would have been the current MM at the time that mod was written. It's pretty safe to assume the intent is the current Sea Cat.

I picked up that access in the second adventure the PC played and for some reason, have gone 11 levels as a Conjurer/Alienist without remembering I could summon one. It certainly would have come in handy on more than one occasion!
