| Shieldhart9108-08-06, 12:15 PM | I don't know if I'm the only one, but whenever I sign up for a game at Warhorn- it says I should play the series. Where am I supposed to find the "series" of a game? It might give the list of a series, but never the games that were in the series. Is there a LG website that shows -every- module? |
| JohnduBois08-08-06, 01:31 PM | Most regional websites show a list of all the adventures from their region, and the Nyrond website keeps a pretty good list of everything out there (certainly all Nyrond meta-region and Core scenarios) at http://www.onyxgate.com/turbine/scenario-list?scope=regional. For Furyondy adventures, look at http://www.furyondy.com/modules/. Also, since we're in the same region, and I'm in the middle of a couple pretty extensive projects, I can probably tell you what the other mods in the "series" you're asking about are. Drop me a PM. |
| Iswald08-09-06, 09:35 AM | The problem is that it's tough to find all of the mods that are from a particular series. For instance, if you just started to play LG this year, how could you find all of the mods that are in the "Running with the Baatezu" series? Sometimes, but not always, you can do a search of the mods at the RPGA Scenario Information (https://events.wizards.com/RPGAWeb/external/scenarios.asp) page. Doing a search right now will only give you "COR5-14 All Roads Lead ot Rauxes", the fifth part of the series. The first four mods might all have been year 4 or earlier mods and wouldn't be in the system. But, sometimes the blurb simply doesn't say which series the mod belongs to, if any. |
| Shieldhart9108-09-06, 10:25 AM | There's a lot of mods that are Year 4...Which means I can't play that part in the series. Oh well- tough luck. I guess I'll just have to play without the know. |
| pedr08-09-06, 10:50 AM | For Core series (as well as Onnwal and Splintered Suns ones) there's a list here: http://tassek.anang.com/modules.html#arc with links to the blurbs and sometimes some extra information, including for retired modules. The other regional websites (listed in the LGCS and linked from the WotC Living Greyhawk site) might well have information on the other regional/metaregional plot arcs. There is also the comprehensive database on the Nyrond site http://www.nyrond.org/turbine/scenario-list?scope=regional although that means clicking each scenario in turn to read the blurb. Hope that helps a little! |

Yeah, it's not uncommon for series to extend across several years...and thus, you can run into that issue (with earlier parts of the series being now retired). The good part about the regions wrapping up many of their storylines in Year 5, and starting new storylines this year, is that you won't feel so much that you're "coming in late" now...Year 6 is a good time to be starting out in LG. |
| Shieldhart9108-09-06, 12:35 PM | I'm just trying to finish up the Bright Lands stuff before it's too late. At the moment, I'm sure as hell not playing in the required order ;) Anyone know what they have planned for the series after the Bright Lands? |
