| LGMoses12-09-06, 01:37 AM | what is the wierdest multiclass or race combo you've seen with a paladin? |
| Britt12-09-06, 01:53 AM | I had a rogue/paladin/marshal/exemplar/spymaster of St. Cuthbert that never lied. I had full levels in Spymaster before he was retired. His final iteration was focused on UMD and face abilities with a secondary focus on Devoted Inquisitor. |
| Mommy was an Orc12-09-06, 12:42 PM | My character, due to a rules change, is going to be a Monk 2/Sorc 1/Paladin 2/Dragon Disciple 4/Green Star Adept 2/Enlightened Fist 4 build. She's a Baklunish immigrant to Keoland, a country whose major metaorg hates Baklunish. Of course, if I haven't convinced Britt not to allow Abjurant Champion, she'll be taking that. :) (original build pre-FAQ is Monk 2/Sorc 1/Paladin 2/Enlightened Fist 10 - not quite so complicated) |
| Reylance12-09-06, 11:33 PM | Clearly, the weirdest I've seen is an elf paladin archer with 8 Strength, 16 Intelligence, and a level of necromancer. The weirdest I haven't seen would probably be an ex-barbarian paladin. |

The weirdest I haven't seen would probably be an ex-barbarian paladin. It probably shouldn't be as weird as it seems - +10 Move in Mithril Full Plate, +2 hp, and +12 skill points(with a reasonably decent skill list)? Sure, you lose Rage, but mechanically, it isn't a bad move. I've half contemplated it for just all the odd looks I'd get. Even has a decent backstory(former nomad of horse country X, moved to country Y, settled down, joined the local cavalry...) |
| Shieldhart9112-10-06, 04:36 PM | Kobold Paladin. 'nuff said. |
| JJeff12-10-06, 09:00 PM | You mean Tajlo? I met a Orge Paladin of Allitur with a pet pig. Does that count? |
| copper_wyrmling12-10-06, 09:47 PM | I've played with a gnome bard / rogue / swashbuckler / paladin / blade bravo who made heavy use of the Goad feat (or something along those lines, I may have forgotten some classes) ;) My cleric liked him for his natural charm and willingness to deliver her holly berry bombs to big nasty monsters at point-blank range :) And of course, there was Bucktoof, the half-orc paladin of Ulaa with a dire boar mount who made it all the way to retirement with no levels in any other class :) |
| clannagh12-10-06, 10:55 PM | I played a game recently with 3 gnome paladins in it, Paladins of St Cuthbert, Atroa and I think Fhlarghan might have been the third, mounted on riding dogs with lances. |
| JohnduBois12-10-06, 11:35 PM | Kobold Paladin. 'nuff said. I find it unusual that everyone talks about the kobold paladin, but NOBODY comments on the ogre mage paladin of Murlynd... |
| Japangirl12-11-06, 01:37 AM | Half-elf, half-Suel paladin of Fortubo (a dwarf god). I believe he is going for Outcast Champion at some point . . . |
