04-05-06, 07:44 AM I just have to say it for the Armed Forces in Japan, South Korea and Guam. Thank you for making us a region. This is actually the first good news I have gotten this week. I guess I should read up alittle more on Ratik. Anyone have more information on this transition? You know. Things like, will we have a grace period where we can play adventures from Perrenland while the writing staff builds some adventures up for Ratik? What kind of flavor we can expect from Ratik adventures? I know that Geoff and Nyrond adventures are very different. I know John Jenks is the head for the metaregion, and he was a member of the Nyrond triad forever. Just wondering what the general plan is...

Oh, and does anyone have a general outline of what has happened in the Ratik region before it was dissolved? It would be nice to know about the region.

04-05-06, 09:08 AM babanathie, if you haven't already, you might want to join up to our Yahoo group at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/ratik/. We prospective Ratikans are working on developing the region there at the moment, although until the new Triad gets officially announced, nothing can be finalised. At the moment almost all the members are Australian, we could do with some different perspectives. Everyone seems pretty enthusiastic, we've had 249 posts in the past four days :) There are some old Ratik mods in the files section as well.

Also, check out the Ratik website, currently hosted on the Perrenland site (go to www.perrenland.lythia.com and follow the links). It has a brief history, a description of the region, and a map, as well as a FAQs section.

As I understand it, the plan is to get enough adventures written before October that when the region goes active, we can start playing right away. A few people have already volunteered to write modules. Of course, we'll also get the 595 and 596 Nyrond metaregionals, starting on the 5th of October.

Have fun!
