Is there anywhere (a website) or anyone (a sage) who can give me some background on this place? I played a Core adventure which took us there and I would just like to know more. Where is it? what has been happening there for the last 20 years? When was it formed? etc etc.

04-18-07, 10:12 AM The information on those links do NOT include the most recent information of events that transpired in LG - namely the invasion by the ethers, the recovery ritual and replacement of the old duke and three-way conflict between the old Tehna, Iuz and the Pale. I know the Pale has a heavy interest in the region so their web-site might include some more up-to-date (although perhaps looked at from their perspective) info on the recent history of Tehn. I have no links at hand...

Well they did have a battle interactive about it...

Evidently they invaded with an crack force of 10,000 highly trained whingers, and instead of fighting back, the forces that were there just retreated rather than listen to the deafening din of their whining...:D

04-18-07, 10:38 PM I'm just curious if Honored Lord of Tenh will ever be worth anything. My sorcerer, whom I benched for a year and a half, and now just leveled to 5 has that reward. It'd be neat it my estates were actually worth something!

just call all those honored ladies and lords of tenh to protect their stretch of land against pholtian occupation :D

my cleric 13 (innspa/ahlissa, follower of phaulkon) has the leadership feat and would be willing to help out with his score of followers (25 first level archers, 2 second level, 1 third level) in tenh and come to aid to stop any force from questioning the new duke's rights ;).

to him, falling under pholtian doctrine is just gradually better than being occupied by the old one himself :P (he had some bad bad experience with pholtians early in his career).

<edit> because the cleric is of good alignment - somehow - he is willing to provide a wagonload of blunt arrows to prevent unnecessary killing of pholtinas </edit>

She may be one of the few truly chaotic people who actually likes the Pholtans. It is useful to be insane...

MIght be intersting to maintain some info about Living Greyhawk hsitory though.
Would Wikipedia mind if we add Living Greyhawk backgorund/history to entries (such as Tehn)?

Those nice Pholtans helped me built my hospital, you know. They even came to the opening of my bath house (though for some reason they didn't want to take their clothes off...)

04-19-07, 05:21 PM Liliana would be thrilled to defend her land and poke Pholtans in the kidneys, Achilles heels, and other various sensitive pieces of anatomy until they die. Bad experiences with Pholtans throughout her early career helped shape this mild mistrust, and then she got soul-melded to a sorceress's ghost who was murdered by Pholtans. She *really* doesn't like them very much . . . she's actually helped Old Wicked fight against the Dimrites.

We, the TOoPBNTEO (yeah yeas, so it doesn't roll of the tongue) believe that everyone can live in peace with each other, as long as they sit down and talk things out over a hot cuppa.

I was thinking we talk to the Pholtans first, and when we have that resolved we go to Darokkaa and talk things out with mister Iuz. I'm sure he'll be nice once we apologize for killing his priests. And taking that bloody book. He can't be mad at me forever. Hmm. well, come to think of it., as he's a god, maybe he can.

04-22-07, 12:02 AM What? Iuz a god? When did he get upgraded to that status?

Last we heard here in the Shield Lands he was still just a Demi-god. Wondering about trying to vainly wipe out the last of our 'pesky resistance' as it were. Either way once the Shield Lands are squared away I'm sure the Council of Lords will be more then willing to send aid to the Dutchy if I, the Honourable Lord Locké No'Tero ask it of them. It would benifit the both of us and help to wipe out the scourge of Pholtus from the lands.
