Does anyone have the adventure record for 'The Mad Mage' BK mod handy, the judge/DM who ran us through it didn't have any, and couldn't find his CD that he had all the mods he has on it. If anyone has it, please email me a copy (just the AR) please.

Even if your request is perfectly on the up-and-up, it comes across as incredibly fishy (not to mention being against RPGA rules). If you really did play the module, only your DM is supposed to give you your AR.

Ahh, didn't know it was against the rules. I guess i'll have to wait for him to find his CD with the files on it, the large folder box he keeps his printed mods in it was out of the AR. Thanks anyway.

He can probably request the file from your Triad - they will have a record of it being run, so should not mind.

In fact, technically speaking, he should request the module and AR from the triad every time he sanctions an event where the module's played. Although admittedly I expect that rule is honoured more in the breach than the observance.

that makes for a very busy triad mailbox...

Further, the existence of the regional adventure download page on the wizards site makes being the technical rule quite questionably useful.

Another place to adjust the regulations toward the reality.

Well, that's the way it is supposed to work in LG - with the regional set up as it exists, the triads need to be one thes controlling the release of the modules and the ARs. LFR, by its nature, will not have this issue.

And technically, the triads should only need to email the ARs and the password for the module.

I should have been more precise - once a module has been uploaded to the RPGA LG site there's no need for the triad to send that - however you cannot get the ARs, nor the passwords, from that site.

As I said, though, this is clearly not the common practice.

The reason to always request adventures is because there have been a number where the mod / AR has been updated from the initial release. Since ARs aren't available on the website, updates can't be done via that mechanism.
