However the Howling Horde adventure WILL be adapted for play and available in the future. Have fun and keep on playing, Thank you. Tim VTF Circle Rep |

| Samwise01-09-07, 02:35 PM | As long as Howling Horde makes the cut. It is an excellent adventure, and I'm looking forward to running it as an extended Core intro or equivalent. |
| MatBlack01-11-07, 12:08 AM | while i'm a bit saddened to hear that Slaughtergarde won't be adapted, i'm not a bit surprised... it seemed hard enough to fit Red Hand into a LG area, and Slaughtergarde seems even tougher. i am happy to hear that Howling Horde will be making the cut, though. as for Frostfell Rift, it looks like a tough adaptation, based on how differently formatted it is from previous FLs. one day maybe i'll stop buying and reading all the new adventures the day they come out and constantly disqualifying myself from playing a single adaptable mod. |
| Britt01-11-07, 02:27 AM | The problem with SGS is how bare-bones it is more than the setting. It would take so much work to adapt, we might as well write a few adventures. |
| Britt01-11-07, 05:18 PM | Oops, I was thinking of something else. The issue was the amount of work required, but I was thinking of a different publication. SGS has a ton of stuff in it: pictures, maps, campaign guidebook, etc. I think it was one of the Fantastic Locations I was thinking of as having large gaps between encounters. |

| Madfox1101-12-07, 04:44 AM | SGS is not barebone in regards to maps and handouts, but the adventure only discusses the adventure site. It is barebone in regards to the events that transpire in between each part, how to get people involved in the adventure, how to get them at the sites and actually requires PCs to adventure in between each part. In a home campaign the lack of such information is a good thing, since it makes it much easier to adapt the adventure to your own campaign. For LG though this means that a lot of work has to be put in it, time and effort that is more efficiently spend in other areas. There will be ample other adventures to be adapted though ;) Now back to work on Howling Horde... Pieter Sleijpen RPGA Living Greyhawk Circle Member The Splintered Suns |
