For many it's probably easiest to go by reward points, so for me it's about 5.5 to 1. Which isn't too bad since I've been playing for 5 years and only DM'ing for one...

Based on reward points... I have 432 player reward points and 213 GM reward points listed, so almost exactly 2:1. I began GM'ing LG about five months after I started playing D&D (first tabletop D&D game was an LG game in March 2004, first GMing record is from August 2004).

About 6:1 for me. But then again, I'm the person in charge of mustering most of the games I play, so I'm definitely not getting off easy :)

Reward points have some oddities. Core specials and adaptables give vast numbers - going to a convention remotely and playing 12 rounds of regionals and metaregionals is like playing one adaptable. If you don't run/play an even mix of different reward-type modules your numbers could be odd.

Aside from local conventions, I play a lot more than I run. I organize games online but rarely GM them and when I travel, I just play, and when I play adaptables I've been "all game and no run" with the exception of one Fane of the Drow game.

At local conventions, I run more than twice as much as I play but if you factor in the zeros and such where I was just a player, it evens out to more of a 1-1 ratio.

After my first year in LG pretty much all "homegames" were slot zeros or playtests due to my activity in the local convention scene.

Overall I'd say I run maybe 20% of my total LG games. If you figure time spent on LG though, "play time" vs "all other time" the numbers even out some. I spend a lot of time prepping the mods I do run. It is highly unusual for me to know the players or even APL range I'm running for.

In the past year or so, its about 1-5.

Played all the games early and now just run things.

Don't mind though, as long as the party aint 'roll'players I ususally find it pretty fun.

Based on Reward points: Played 2 games for each one I have DMed.

Based on my reward points, it's about a 3-1 play/judge ratio. Though, that history goes back to 2003, and the majority of my play history is non-LG play (Living Force, Living Death, Living Arcanis before it left RPGA, etc.)

For LG specifically, I'd guess my ratio is more like 4-1 or 5-1.

But, what this doesn't capture is that I have several home groups, all of which I'm the DM for, and most of which aren't RPGA play. For me, RPGA represents my primary opportunity to actually *play*, instead of just DM all the time.

I have been basically playing in the campaign for 2 years and DMing for the last 3mos out of an obligation to support the campaign. I basically dislike DMing due largely to a sort of performance anxiety but, am told I am pretty decent. Based on My ARs, I am around 15:1.

I've been playing for a little over a year, and my reward points don't include my activity for Genericon XXI last month yet, which skews the results. With those added in, my ratio is more like 5:3. I guess that makes me the leading contender for the Sucker award, at least until TetsujinOni sounds off. :D

Play: 92 (TotalCon and GeneriCon not reported yet). Run: 120 (as previously mentioned).

What was that about 'sucker'? I think LGMoses has close to 0:1 though.

Hmm, I'm intrigued now. 242 played, according to my play history (that sounds about the number of ARs I think I have, too). According to the GM history, I've run 115 games. So about 2:1.

Well, I've only played the game 12 times. So compared to most of you all I am probably a newbie or beginnier. Anyway, my ratio is 1:3.

286/118

But almost all of the GM-ing was pre-june last year.

I'm at 369 play/339 DM, but that doesn't count DDXP. I expect that it will even out somewhat once my DMing there gets entered.

Around 10:1.
I did not start playing until the Bright Lands arc, and then I got dragged back into being a core reviewer, which killed over half the adventures available to me. (I do not like to travel.)

With 3 conventions outstanding I have 583 player reward points and 302 judge reward points. So about 2/1 then.

Roughly 1:1 at slightly past 150, but for the last year, it's more like 0:much as I'm trying to get a solid RPGA community going in my home country.
