Any hint of which enviromentally thematic book, such as Sandstorm, will be for LG? Frostburn or Stormwrack?

There are two new 'environment' books in the works. One on Dungeoneering and one on Cityscapes.

more than likely these books will get the same treatment as the other environment books when we look at them. however again won't know till i see them.

TimRat,

The original poster may have been digging for hints for the next big LG campaign arc. I assume that WotC appreciated the sales from the Bright Lands / Sandstorm tie-in, so it seems reasonable that there'd be another LG arc with a product tie-in (although not necessarily environmental).

But perhaps this isn't the time to let the cat out of the bag. ;) Just as long as the Circle knows that we're interested in what their plans...

Cheers,

I, for one, would like to see Stormwrack... Arr!

Bullrush is so much more useful when it involves cliffs or the word "Overboard."

I can also see Marshals of the ocean using Motivate Strength to throw their Charisma Modifier at party member's Swim checks!

I just want to know because I crave to buy a new D&D book, but I'm only going to buy books that are directly relevant to LG players and at this point I'm all tapped out on what is legal with LG.

Must... crunch...

Stormwrack might not work as well. The total lack of aquatic minis would (and does) hamper underwater games.

oh if its that case then i dont think there is a book that is directly related to what is/might be going coming along. There have been some adventures already tied to the area that is going to see some focus for the coming year.

i mean a lot of the books that come out we try to pull things from. tome of magic has popped up here recently.

It doesn't seem to me like the existing modules have particularly been written to go along with the existing miniatures anyway. I certainly don't have any dire, half-dragon, half-troll, exploding choker miniatures, but it seems like that is what you are fighting half the time!! :D

Also, it seems like only a tiny percentage of GMs out there actually make much attempt to match up the minis with the fights. But the few that DO usually do a great job of it.

In Nyrond, there are a lot of (eg, more than 2 modules) where the sailors are favored!

In the Pale, Frostbite is favored due to geography.

With the sandstorm focus in the Bright Sands, the only ones left are the upcoming Cityscape & Dungeonscapes.

I can easily see Dungeoneering one being used in many interactives.

So, here's hoping the next big LG Core environment focus would be cityscapes. It may lend more to the more 'finesse' PCs in the party mix.
