| Lomiat01-24-07, 03:07 PM | I'm a little curious where people have played. Some people have posted many, many times and have made it clear which region is their home region, but I still don't know which other regions you've visited. Others have posted less frequently or just haven't mentioned their region. (And I'm a little curious because I wonder how many of you might make it to the Shield Lands for one of our conventions, someday.) Most of my PCs have home region: Shield Lands I've played in the Shield Lands, Highfolk, Dyvers, Verbobonc, and the Duchy of Urnst. I'm quite interested in having at least one of my PCs visit the Bandit Kingdoms. I'm also quite curious about the Theocracy of the Pale, and I figure I can probably make it to Furyondy this year. How about you? |
| Haro01-24-07, 04:18 PM | I've recently moved back to Perrenland from Ratik. My PCs are split between the two regions, except for my 10th level Alienist, who resides in the Duchy of Urnst. Being in Australia, it's somewhat difficult to play in other regions, although I've played in Onnwal and Highfolk through fiesta slots. Joe |
| gomeztoo01-24-07, 04:27 PM | I currently have PCs from Dyvers (my rogue Greaser, and Clover who was origfginally from Dullstarnd), Verbobonc (Nesalia), and Sunndi ('Fat Dwarf', and Adonyee - now retired). As a metareg coordinator, I prefer not to make PCs in my metaregion, so only one (in play) is actually from there. I have played in Sunndi, the Dullstrand, Onnwall, Innspa/Adri, the TSS region, Ekbir, and the VTF region. Personally, I would LOVE to play a Verbobonc or Dyvers mod, and am less eager, buta bit curious, to see if Nesalia would be able to survive anything from the Iuz Borderstates (not because of rumored lethality, but because of her little personal fit with Iuz). |

Oooh! Oooh! Come to the Shield Lands, and bring Nesalia (and 5 other VERY stalwart companions). We'll have Iuz send his regards. |
| Japangirl01-24-07, 06:04 PM | Well, I'm sure everyone knows I live in the BK, and all my characters are currently from there (though I'm tempted to have one move to the Yeomanry). I have also played in the Yeomanry and thus the Sheldomar Valley metaregionals too. I'd like to play in Dyvers some time, but so far no money to get up there. |
| RedKnightofKet01-24-07, 06:18 PM | Let me see, now... I've played in: The VTF (duh) Ket (double duh) Tusmit Veluna Iuz Furyondy (going this weekend - anyone else?) Sheldomar Valley Keoland (my wood elf's home region) |
| _metz_01-24-07, 06:37 PM | Well My PCs are Perrenland and Ratik, though I have played a Duchy game in a fiesta at a con lol And I don't so much do much playing as DMing hahaha |
| Akhamshyy01-24-07, 06:58 PM | Wherever I go, there I play. Mostly that's up and down the eastern seaboard of the US. If I-95 goes there I'm game. I also head west to Ohio for Origins each year. Veluna feels like a vacation compared to Geoff, Keoland, and The Gran March. Those are the regions I usually end up playing in. Of course I count judging as playing to, I'm usually asked to run stuff, and I help out at the cons I'm invited to. I do more judging than playing locally. I have too much fun playing all those monsters to be tied-up in one character for long. |
| Crosby01-24-07, 07:01 PM | Shield Lands is the home for all three of my characters, although, I have played in Dyvers, Highfolk and a couple of Meta's for them as well. |
| NiTessine01-24-07, 07:05 PM | My characters are all from Naerie (except for the Bright Lands guy), and in addition to our regionals, I've played in both Sunndi and Onnwal. I plan to hit GenCon UK this year to get a few more foreign regionals under my belt. |
| Redfist01-24-07, 07:25 PM | I live in Phoenix and thus Nyrond. Luckily, I travel a good amount for work so I have played in the following areas (thanks to some very gracious hosting): The ones you'd expect - COR, ADP, NYR, NMR plus: PAL URD URC KEO VER VTF SHL FUR ULP HIG DYV GEO SHE YEO --Gordon |
| LGMoses01-24-07, 10:17 PM | I'd like to go to whatever region has the most elves. Other than that, I'm happy in the Yeomanry if we ever get back up to date. |
| kenobi6501-24-07, 11:58 PM | All of my PCs are from Verbobonc. I've yet to play a non-Verby regional, and I've only played one VTF. I tried to play a Highfolk mod over the holidays, but that plan fell apart...being from Wisconsin originally, I still want to get up there for a game at some point. |
| Gwumph01-25-07, 01:36 AM | As some of you might know, I am in Bangkok Thailand. So it's been core, core, core until October last year when we were allowed to join Perrenland. Since then it's been Perrenland, Perrenland, Perrenland. Very very slim chance of anything else in the near future. But then again having AR's certed in Bangkok (with all the yumminess that goes along with Bangkok) is pretty unique in itself. Gwumph |
| Stormydoom01-25-07, 04:53 AM | It say it all in the location, found below my join date, accross from my name. (bit complicated to say Perrenland) I've also played a Pale mod in a fiesta. I like the sound of the shield lands and the bandit kingdoms (all the people from the bandit kingdoms must think i'm crazy or something, I just want to be wanted!tm), but I don't think i'll be going to the US anytime soon. |
| Bogjob01-25-07, 08:03 AM | I live in N Ireland so its mainly Onnwal. There are 7 of us heading to Homecon this year in Holland to play lots of lovely Suundian regionals and hopefully a few of us are hoping to make to Bordercon in Switzerland to play Dullstrand and Ekbir mods as its on the border with France. We looked at going to Gencon Indy but it was far to expensive for flights etc. |
| Madfox1101-25-07, 08:59 AM | While I still could play, I played: Ahlissan, Ekbir, Geoff, Keoland, Onnwal, Sheldomar Valley and VTF meta-regionals. Now of course I don't play any... I get to review, write and run them though :evillaugh |
| JohnduBois01-25-07, 06:38 PM | Furyondy (going this weekend - anyone else?) I'll be there. Play Chris Hoffman's Iuz or my Furyondy on Sunday, and look for the white-haired FUR Triad guy... |
| RedKnightofKet01-25-07, 07:16 PM | Yeah, I kinda figured you'd be there. And I am signed up to play yours on Sunday. I think I signed up for mostly Furyondy mods where I could play them, and Iuz when not. I have some free luxury upkeep coming my way, among other things. :) Anybody else out there going to Pan Frost? Any other players? Judges? I'll be there. Play Chris Hoffman's Iuz or my Furyondy on Sunday, and look for the white-haired FUR Triad guy... |
| UMiskatonic01-25-07, 07:28 PM | Well, I live in Chicago, which means Verbobonc, and only one hour from Highfolk. I've also played in Keoland, Urnst, Nyrond, Iuz, Ket, VTF, Furyondy, Veluna, Dyvers, and the Shield Lands. |
