Which convention is which? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-02-05, 11:45 AM Ok I am in Gran march I understand that. (Atlanta Georgia)

I want to order an event but I have a problem.
Which one do I order? I am assuming all of these adventures are the same thing for different regions.

GRM4-01 Gran March Year 4 Regional 1
GRM4-02 Gran March Year 4 Regional 2
GRM4-03 Gran March Year 4 Regional 3

and the list goes on up to region 8. Like I said I am in Atlanta but that does not explain which one I should do?

If it does not matter which one I pick and they are all different moduals please tell me.

03-02-05, 12:08 PM Actually, you can order / play *all* of them *anywhere* in the Gran March region. "Regional" in those module names means it's a regional module (i.e., it's written for / takes place in Gran March), not that it's written for a specific area within the Gran March region.

"GRM4-01 Gran March Year 4 Regional 1" is the first year 4 regional module for Gran March, "GRM4-02 Gran March Year 4 Regional 2" is the second, etc.

Each one is a completely different module. Each LG region is allowed to publish a number of regional modules each year; for whatever reason, the RPGA event ordering system doesn't contain the actual names of those modules, and just uses the kind of generic-sounding (and confusing) names you've encountered.

The Gran March triad's web site has a section on the scenarios:

This gives you more details on each of these modules, including the names of the modules, and the APLs that that the modules support (not every module is written for every APL).

So, on that page, you'll see that "GRM4-01 Gran March Year 4 Regional 1" is called "Homecoming", and is a module for APLs 2-12. "GRM4-02 Gran March Year 4 Regional 2" is called "The Road to Hookhill", and is also for APLs 2-12.

Also, keep in mind that when you order a regional scenario, you have to contact your region's POC to get some of the files for the module.

Now if I could just figure out the military thing.

Every member of the group is in the military and wants to know about how to get rank in the Grand March Military I am reading the Grand March military information (4.0) but it just shows the rank not what do you have to do to get it.

Hopefully if I get the Grand March modules I will find out more information on this instead of ordering the Core mods.

03-02-05, 02:08 PM The "Military Benefits" PDF sheds a little light on it (it sounds like a PC is promoted after he receives a certain number of commendations), but what I really think you should do is contact Gran March's meta-campaign coordinator, and ask him (since that's his job :) ). Acc. to their web page ( http://granmarch.living-greyhawk.com/triad.htm ), he's named Will Dover.

(And, in general, questions about your region are probably going to be best addressed to your Triad. Gran March also has a Yahoo Group for discussion...you mght want to consider joining that group.)
