| kenobi6511-10-05, 11:11 PM | Because it's an entire additional system you'd be expecting LG DMs to be versed in and able to adjudicate, and LG does seem to strive to be as close to "baseline" D&D as possible. There are several other RPGA campaigns that allow psionics, including Living Arcanis and Mark of Heroes. If you have to satisfy your psi-jones, may I suggest trying one of those? |
| TimRat11-14-05, 04:40 PM | Basically what others have answered are the correct answer. allowing so much into the campaign requires people having so many books and knowing so many rules that it would bog down the gaming session. plus honestly in greyhawk there aren't that many psionics to begin. yes there were a few but not readily available as say eberron. |

Well, there is a bit in canon and semi-canon: psionics has its own name in the Flanaess ("edel" or "gift of fate") and leaving it out makes Zuoken a bit of a god-without-portfolio. Nonetheless, I agree that it is not integral to the structure of the campaign, and I for one am rather relieved that it was omitted. |
