WOTC membership login [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-21-07, 06:09 PM Ok we have had a couple of new people that have been unable to log into the site. They have both played a couple of modules that have been reported. We are using the WA98055 as the generic password.

We get the following error: "Invalid credentials. Please try again, or click the appropriate "Forgot Password" link if you need your password emailed to you. If the "Forgot Password" functionality isn't working for you, please contact http://wizards.custhelp.com."

And if you go to the forgot password option and for the heck of it put the RPGA number into the mail password. It says that number doesnt exist. So we know we havent got duplicate numbers.

Any ideas here. We want to get them signed in and one of them wants to take the Heralds Test

05-21-07, 06:11 PM I think, from recent experience, that it takes time, sometimes a couple of weeks, for new memberships to activate. I have no idea why this should be, but it has been the case for a number of people who have recently joined locally.

05-21-07, 06:19 PM Well one of the new people had 2 mods reported at least a month ago. So we will keep checking for him. The other new player was within the last week or so

05-21-07, 06:29 PM The other way of trying to get things moving is to contact WotC via wizards.custhelp.com and see if they can pass things on to RPGA HQ.
