| dfiorito04-02-06, 08:34 PM | Um, when can I order any of the new year 6 core mods? I see that some are supposed to be available for home play this month but when I go to order them they are not listed. Why? Cheers, David |
| kenobi6504-02-06, 11:06 PM | Well, first of all, the RPGA's Scenario Information database ( https://events.wizards.com/RPGAWeb/external/scenarios.asp ) is always a good way to find the actual availability dates for modules, rather than trying to order an event and seeing what is (or isn't) out yet on your desired date. So, looking at that, here's when it says the Year 6s (at least, those that have been posted to the system so far) will be available for home play: COR 6-01 A Story for Another Day 4/7/06 COR 6-02 Rallying Point for the Bright Sands 5/1/06 COR 6-03 Riders of the Grave 7/1/06 COR 6-04 A Long Way For a Little Knowledge 7/1/06 COR 6-05 The Barbarous Coast 7/1/06 COR 6-06 Elegy For a Broken King 6/1/06 So, 6-01 should be available at the end of this week. Part of the problem is that "home play" is always released last, usually a couple of months after the module first premieres. The bigger problem, for #3 through #5, is that they were Winter Fantasy modules, and thus are part of the "Extended Premiere" program (where modules that premiere at the "big" conventions are then given to cons in other regions for regional premieres before they're allowed to be played anywhere else), which delays the availability for other events (and, again, home play always comes last). |
