You get encoding errors on earlier versions. Been a pain here, as work still uses Acrobat Reader 5.1 and can't be upgraded locally. |

I am just glad that at my work we can download and install programs like Acrobat Reader without a problem and not just because of the RPGA ;) |
| tvknight41503-30-07, 09:08 AM | Hmm... and what if your computer processor's make ends in 486 and there isn't an Acrobat Reader 7 for any operating system that will run on your PC? :( Acrobat Reader isn't always truly free. |

Since when has WotC cared about us enough to make it easy to play the game? |

That's true. I also have a computer that predates cromagnon man. I can't be expected to upgrade to something that runs Acrobat Reader 7 when it runs just fine as it is! Just another instance of the rpga screwing over players for no good reason. I demand they consider my needs when they look at using software from this milennia! :P Joe |

I've still got my Amiga, you know the one, with the self assembled 1/2 MB memory upgrade. There's still small businesses out there running on 286 technology, just using the PC for Word Processing & Contact lists...... Cheers Paul H |

Cheers Paul H I wouldn't think that filing it so that earlier versions of Acrobat could take it would be out of line. Seriously. Unlike desktops, older laptops are still functional and often used, especially since they (quite ironically) often have better battery life than newer models. |
